June 22–26 | 9:00 PM – 9:30 PM CST | 3 CEUs

Parent training is one of the most important—and often one of the most challenging—parts of our work as behavior analysts. Even the most effective intervention plan will struggle to produce meaningful, lasting outcomes if caregivers are not engaged, confident, and implementing strategies consistently outside of sessions.
During this 5-day Summer Camp, you'll learn practical, evidence-based strategies for building parent buy-in, teaching behavioral concepts in a way families can actually understand, and navigating the common barriers that make parent training difficult. We'll discuss how to move beyond simply giving parents information and instead help them develop the skills needed to create meaningful change at home.
Topics include:
• Building rapport and increasing parent engagement
• Teaching behavioral concepts in parent-friendly language
• Using Behavioral Skills Training (BST) effectively
• Troubleshooting resistance, low follow-through, and difficult conversations
• Creating parent training plans that lead to real-world behavior change
Whether you're a new BCBA looking to build confidence or an experienced clinician hoping to improve parent outcomes, this Summer Camp will provide practical tools you can immediately apply to your current cases.
